No crossing

In the end of the Rambla of Barcelona, I saw this dude sleeping on a lawn. Maybe it's allowed to sleep on the lawn, but not to cross it? Obviously it wasn't allowed to photograph the guy - a cop told me to stop and leave him alone :-)
